This Privacy Policy explains how Pic Identify ("we", "our", or "the App") collects, uses,
stores and protects your information when you use our mobile application. By using Pic Identify,
you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Summary: We only collect the minimum data required to provide image recognition
services. We never sell your data. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time
from Settings → Delete Account.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
Images you submit. Photos you take or select from your gallery for recognition.
Images are uploaded to our server for AI processing and stored so that you can review the result later
in your history.
Apple Sign-In data. If you choose "Sign in with Apple", Apple provides us with a
unique user identifier and, only on the first sign-in, your name and email (which may be a private
relay email provided by Apple). We do not receive your Apple password.
1.2 Information collected automatically
Device identifier. For guest sign-in, we use the iOS
identifierForVendor or Android ANDROID_ID to create and reuse a guest account
on the same device. This identifier is not linked to your real identity.
Technical information. App version, platform (iOS/Android), device model,
system language and request timestamps — used only for diagnostics and service reliability.
Recognition history. The images you submit and the AI-generated results are stored
on our servers so that you can browse your history within the App.
1.3 Information we do NOT collect
We do not collect your precise geographic location.
We do not access your contacts, calendar, health data or advertising identifier (IDFA).
We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
2. How We Use Your Information
To provide image recognition and return AI-generated descriptions and tags.
To maintain your history and favorites so you can revisit them.
To authenticate your session and prevent abuse of the service.
To diagnose and fix bugs, and to improve service quality.
To comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.
3. Third-Party Services
We rely on a limited number of trusted third parties to operate the App. Your data may be
processed by these providers strictly for the purposes listed below:
Apple Sign in with Apple — to verify your Apple account when you choose Apple
login. See Apple's privacy practices at
apple.com/legal/privacy.
Tencent Cloud Object Storage (COS) — to store the images you submit so the AI
can access them and so you can view them in your history.
Alibaba Cloud DashScope (Bailian) — AI model provider that performs the actual
image recognition on the image URL we send.
We do not share your data with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on servers operated by our cloud providers. We use HTTPS for all network traffic,
JSON Web Tokens for session authentication, and access controls to limit who can read your data.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take commercially reasonable measures
to protect your information.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your account data and recognition history for as long as your account is active. You can
delete your account at any time from within the App:
Open Settings → tap Delete Account.
Confirm the action. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
We will delete your profile, all uploaded images metadata, recognition history and favorites
from our primary databases. Backups are rotated automatically within 30 days.
If you cannot access the App, you may also request deletion by emailing us at the address below.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate information.
Request deletion of your information.
Withdraw consent at any time (by deleting your account or uninstalling the App).

7. Children's Privacy
Pic Identify is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your
jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child
has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
8. International Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. By using the App,
you consent to such transfers in accordance with applicable law.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will present
the updated policy to you within the App and ask you to agree again before continuing. The "Last
updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
