Welcome to Pic Identify (the "App"). This User Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal contract between you and the operator of Pic Identify ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, please stop using the App and uninstall it from your device.
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use Pic Identify. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to this Agreement.

You can use the App either as a guest (linked to your device identifier) or by signing in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your device and Apple ID secure. Activity conducted through your account is deemed to be your activity.
"User Content" means the images you submit to the App for recognition, together with any metadata generated from them.
You agree that you will not submit, upload or transmit content that:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, and to remove or refuse to process any content at our sole discretion.
Pic Identify uses third-party AI models to generate descriptions of the images you submit. These results are produced automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete or misleading. You should not rely on the App for medical, legal, safety-critical or other professional decisions. Always consult a qualified expert for such matters.
The App is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce optional paid features or subscriptions in the future; any such features will be clearly disclosed before purchase and governed by additional terms at that time.
All rights, title and interest in the App (including its code, UI, logos, icons and branding) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Except for the limited license granted in Section 2, no rights are transferred to you.
The App interacts with third-party services (such as Apple Sign-In, cloud storage and AI providers). Your use of such services is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third parties.
You may terminate this Agreement at any time by deleting your account (Settings → Delete Account) and uninstalling the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach this Agreement, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.
THE APP AND ALL CONTENT AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 10.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, liability, damage or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the App, your User Content, or your violation of this Agreement or any law.
This Agreement is governed by the laws applicable to the entity operating the App. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that location, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law of your residence.
We may modify this Agreement from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you within the App and ask you to accept the updated Agreement before continuing to use the service. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
